Mesa Arch is one of the many stunning features of Canyonlands National Park in Utah. Here, the morning sun glows orange on the rocks of Mesa Arch at sunrise.
A band of sunlight brightens the hoodoos of Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah.
Bryce Canyon which, despite its name, is not a canyon but a giant natural amphitheater created by erosion along the eastern side of the Paunsaugunt Plateau in Utah. Bryce is distinctive due to geological structures called hoodoos, formed by wind, water, and ice erosion of the river and lake bed sedimentary rocks. The red, orange, and white colors of the rocks provide spectacular views for park visitors. This is a lovely digital rendering of one of the artist’s Bryce photographs.
